Late at the Admiral Benbow, a damp second map of the island appears tucked behind the inn’s old account board. It resembles the original chart but adds an inlet no one aboard the Hispaniola remembers and omits a landmark Silver always mentioned too confidently. Jim Hawkins sees opportunity; Long John Silver sees danger; the difference between those instincts may decide who walks into the cove first. If someone has redrawn the island, then the treasure is no longer the only thing buried.
